composer's notes

I wrote this while studying abroad in Sacramento as a precursor to The Faraway Tree. The process of writing was very focused with a lot of guidance from my composition tutor, the outcome of which was a 3 piece movement written for 3 voices, french horn, and harp. While it didn’t make it into the musical, it was a really great starting point for musical research.
