composer's notes
This was an original musical that I wrote, directed, and designed in place of a dissertation for my bachelor’s degree. This was very much a passion project of mine from the age of 16. The Faraway Tree books by Enid Blyton were a childhood favourite and I saw so many wonderful elements that would translate well onto stage - it just felt natural to do so. I’d be eager to revisit and stage the show with a team in the future so please reach out if you’re interested!
