designer's notes
This was part of the Shakespeare Technical Showcase and an extract of the play. Our costume designer, Hannah Glowala, led us in the aesthetic direction of “80’s New Romantics”, drawing inspiration from David Bowie, Boy George, and Duran Duran. This allowed for lots of saturated colours as well as use of a disco ball. I really enjoyed working with smoke and reflective materials in this production.
