composer's notes
This was a children’s puppet show that toured around primary schools in London. It was an incredibly fun production to be part of. Being involved from the very beginning and with the devising process meant that I was writing music alongside devising and rehearsing, allowing for multiple layers of feedback and editing to take place. My favourite song from this piece is “It’s Okay” which was surprisingly easy to write and hearing children singing along on their 2nd viewing of the show was an incredibly gratifying moment.
